Racing4Vets has launched its first fundraising campaign to support combat-injured U.S. military veteran John Vann in the first step of his motorsports career training.  John will participate in his first High Performance driver training program run by the National Auto Sport Association at Virginia International Raceway VIR from October 12-14, 2012.

John Vann is a combat-injured retired U.S. Army Senior Staff Sergeant who served in Iraq.  John suffered significant combat injuries, including traumatic brain injury (TBI) and PTSD.  He spent nearly 3 years in recovery, participating in the VA Sports Clinics and Team River Runner sports programs.  John is now ready to pursue his dream of a career in motorsports.

Racing4Vets is holding a nationwide fundraising campaign to support John’s dream and inspire other combat-injured veterans to get involved in motorsports for career and competition.
