Racing4Vets is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit which helps honorably discharged and service-disabled U.S. Military veterans rehabilitate from PTSD, substance abuse and disabilities, by being directly involved in motorsports with camaraderie, social reintegration and competition.
The Cincinnati, Ohio chapter focuses on kart racing both indoor and outdoor. In partnership with Full Throttle Indoor Karting, we host veterans once a month and allow them to experience competitive indoor kart racing at no cost. Veterans who are looking for a bigger commitment and have a service-connected disability can participate in outdoor kart competition in purpose-built racing karts competing in the Ohio Valley Karting Association (OVKA). OVKA is also a nonprofit organization that started in 1964 and has graciously sponsored our team for the past several years. www.ovka.com
Update: We want to share an important change within Racing 4 Vets.
Our Outdoor Team will be stepping back, as we shift our focus toward the Indoor Event and other new opportunities. That will ultimately help us better serve our veteran community.
This was not an easy decision, but it’s one that will allow R4V to grow and make an even greater impact.
